THE NEW TESTAMENT IS THE REPLACEMENT OF THE OLD. {HEBREWS, 8:-7-13]
THE CALLED & GLORIOUSLY PRESERVED:
WE ARE TO DILIGENTLY ASK FROM OUR BENEVOLENT FATHER FOR WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE, AND UNDERSTANDING SO THAT WE MAY BE ABLE TO PROPERLY AND EFFECTIVELY CARRY OUT OUR GIVEN ASSIGNMENT AS EVANGELISTS IN CHRIST.
[MARK, 16:-15-16]
“IF ANY OF YOU LACKS WISDOM HE IS TO ASK FROM GOD WHO GIVES TO EVERYONE GENEROUSLY AND WITHOUT REBUKE OR BLAME, AND HE WILL BE GIVEN TO HIM.”
[JAMES, 1:-5]
WE ARE TO CAREFULLY STUDY AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THE HOLY SCRIPTURE SO THAT WE DON’T CONFUSE OUR AUDIENCE[S] IN OUR INTERPRETATION.
TO EFFECTIVELY CONNECT THE OLD TESTAMENT WITH THE NEW TESTAMENT REQUIRES WISDOM FROM ABOVE.
THE OLD TESTAMENT IS NOT TO BE TOTALLY DISCARDED, BUT THE MAJOR ASPECTS OF IT ARE ALSO IN THE NEW TESTAMENT.
IT IS CALLED “THE PARALEL QUOTES.” EXAMPLES ARE:
MATTHEW, 1:-23, IS THE SAME AS, MALACHI, 3:-1
MATTHEW, 25:-23, IS THE SAME AS, GENESIS, 4:-8
LUKE, 1:-33 IS THE SAME AS, DANIEL. 4:-3.
THE LIST GOES ON AND ON.
TO SUCCESSFULLY PREACH THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND WIN SOULS FOR CHRIST, WE ARE TO FOCUS MORE ON THE NEW TESTAMENT TO AVOID THE OLD RITUALS AND SACRIFICES THAT HAVE BEEN ABOLISHED BY HIS DEATH ON THE CROSS, AND HIS RESURRECTION FROM THE DEATH.
NO MORE SACRIFICE IS REQUIRED TO APPEASE JEHOVAH GOD FOR ANY REASON. THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF THE LAMB HAS DONE IT ALL.
IT IS OUTRIGHTLY FORBIDDEN TO THOSE WHO HAVE PROFESSED CHRIST AS LORD AND SAVIOR AND HAVE THEIR TRUST IN HIS BLOOD TO CLEANSE THEM FROM ANY FORM OF UNRIGHTEOUSNESS TO OFFER SACRIFICE OF ANY KIND AFTER CHRIST HAS PAID THE ULTIMATE PRICE ON THE CROSS.
IN CONCLUSION: “FOR IF THE FIRST COVENANT HAD BEEN FAULTLESS, THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO OCCASION FOR THE SECOND, OR AN ATTEMPT TO INSTITUTE ANOTHER.
[THE NEW COVENANT]
HOWEVER, GOD FINDS FAULT WITH THEM ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURE WHEN HE SAYS, “BEHOLD, THE DAYS WILL COME SAYS THE LORD WHEN I WILL MAKE AND RATIFY A NEW COVENANT WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL, AND WITH THE HOUSE OF JUDAH.” [HEBREWS, 8:-7-13]
PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT THE LAST VERSE SAYS AND MAKE YOUR OWN JUDGEMENT ABOUT THE OLD TESTAMENT.
BUT REMEMBER, GOD, WILL NOT CHANGE WHAT HE HAS SAID OR DONE TO PLEASE ANY MAN.
