THE EULOGY AT THE FUNERAL HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE DEPARTED.
CHRIST CHOSEN DISCIPLES:
THE MAJOR PURPOSE OF OUR DISCIPLESHIP IS TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL WITHOUT EXEMPTION.
NO ONE LEFT BEHIND MEANS INCLUDING OUR EXTENDED FAMIL, AND ALL OUR FRIENDS BOTH HOME AND ABROAD.
WE ARE TO SPELL IT OUT CLEARLY, THE IMPLICATION OR THE CONSEQUENCE OF LEAVING THIS WORLD WITHOUT ACCEPTING JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AND SAVIOR.
THE HOLY BIBLE MADE US TO UNDERSTAND THAT ANYONE WHO FAILS TO ACCEPT CHRIST AND BE BAPTIZED HAS ALREADY BEEN CONDEMNED. (MARK, 16:-15-16)
THE EULOGY AT THE FUNERAL HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHERE THE SOUL OF THE DEPARTED FINALLY ENDS UP. HELL OR PARADISE.
IT IS OUT OF EMOTIONAL FEELINGS TO WISH THE DEPARTED WELL.
BUT THE FACT REMAINS; ANY SOUL THAT FAILS TO ACCEPT CHRIST AS LORD AND SAVIOR CANNOT REST IN PEACE. THERE IS NO PEACE WITHOUT CHRIST.
WE ARE NOT TO BE TIMID IN TELLING OR PREACHING THE TRUTH AS IT IS WRITTEN IN THE HOLY BOOK.
JOHN, 14:-6 “JESUS SAID TO HIM, “I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME.”
ARE WE TRULY BELIEVERS OF CHRIST OF A BUNCH OF PRETENDERS WHO PREACH WHAT THE CONGREGATION WANTS AND BE APPUADED?
IF WE BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST AS ACCLAIMED, WHY CAN’T WE PREACH WHAT HE SAYS?
WE ARE TO TAKE THE GOSPEL SERIOUS AND PREACH WHAT IS WRITTEN IN THE HOLY BIBLE.
2 TIMOTHY, 1:-7 “FOR GOD HAS NOT GIVEN US A SPIRIT OF FEAR AND TIMIDITY, BUT OF POWER, LOVE, AND SELF DISCIPLINE.”
IN CONCLUSION: “NEITHER IS THERE SALVATION IN ANY OTHER: FOR THERE IS NONE OTHER NAME UNDER THE HEAVEN GIVEN AMONG MEN, WHEREBY WE MUST BE SAVED.” (ACTS, 4:-12)
