I CONFESS MY SIN BEFORE YOU TODAY
THE CALLED AND FORGIVEN:
IF WE ARE TO SUFFER PERSECUTION, LET IT BE FOR OUR FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS. AND NOT FOR UNGODLINESS.
1 PETER, 4:-15 “BUT LET NONE OF YOU SUFFER AS A MURDERER, OR AS A THIEF, OR AS AN EVILDOER, OR AS BUSYBODY IN OTHER MEN’S AFFAIR.”
FORNICATION AND ADULTERY ARE BOTH SIN ACCORDING TO THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, BUT ABORTION MAKES THE CONSEQUENCES MORE SEVERE. THOU SHALL NOT KILL SAYS THE LORD GOD.
LET US BE MORE CAREFUL NOT TO INVOLVE OURSELVES IN SERIES OF SIN IN ORDER TO COVER UP ONE SIN ALREADY COMMITTED.
IF BY MISTAKE YOU FIND YOURSELF COMMITTING ADULTERY, IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO CONFESS AND REPENT RATHER THAN GOING FOR AN ABORTION WHICH IS CONSIDERED MURDER.
1 JOHN, 1:-9 “IF WE CONFESS OUR SINS, HE IS FAITHFUL AND JUST TO FORGIVE US OUR SINS, AND TO CLEANSE US FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.”
LIKEWISE THE WORD OF GOD IN THE BOOK OF PROVERBS, 28:-13 “HE THAT COVERS HIS SINS SHALL NOT PROSPER, BUT WHOSOEVER CONFESS AND FORSAKE THEM SHALL RECEIVE MERCY.”
THEREFORE, AS ONCE A FORNICATOR AND ADULTERER, I STAND BEFORE YOU THIS DAY TO CONFESS MY SINS AND REPENT FROM THEM. THAT I MAY RECEIVE FORGIVENESS AND MERCY FROM GOD AS PROMISED. (ROMANS, 3:-23-26)
FOR AS MUCH AS WE ARE STILL IN THIS FLESH, WE WILL FALL INTO SIN. THE GOOD NEWS IS, THE GRACE OF HIS RESURRECTION IS SUFFICIENT FOR THE REMISSION OF OUR SINS IF WE CONFESS AND REPENT.
IN CONCLUSION: MAY HIS DEATH ON THE CROSS OF CALVARY, AND THE GRACE OF HIS RESURRECTION CONTINUE TO SHIELD US FROM THE SIN THAT IS CAPABLE OF FORFEITING OUR SALVATIONAL GRACE.
IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME WE PRAY. AMEN.
