“FOR IF THAT FIRST COVENANT HAD BEEN FAULTLESS, THEN NO PLACE WOULD HAVE BEEN SOUGHT FOR A SECOND. [HEBREWS, 8;-7]
CHRIST CHOSEN APOSTLES:
HOW WE PERCEIVE THE “DEATH AND RESURRECTION” OF JESUS IN OUR INDIVIDUAL LIFE REFLECTS HOW MUCH OUR FAITH IN HIM RESONATED IN THE “FINISHED WORK OF THE CROSS.”
ONE CANNOT CLAIM TO BE A CHRISTIAN AND A FOLLOWER OF CHRIST WITHOUT GENUINELY TRUSTING IN THE “FINISHED WORK OF THE CROSS.”
YOU CAN NOT BE A CHRISTIAN AND AT THE SAME TIME BELIEVE IN RITUALS OF ANY KIND.
ANY SACRIFICE, BE IT OF FRUITS, CANDIES, OR FABRICS OF ANY COLOR, OR OF ANY KIND OF BLOOD IS CONSIDERED A SACRIFICE AND IT IS FORBIDDEN FOR ANYONE WHO HAS BAPTIZED AND PARTOOK IN THE HOLY COMMUNION.
SOME BELIEVE THEIR NAMES ARE ALREADY WRITTEN IN THE “BOOK OF LIFE,” DUE TO THEIR LOYALTY AND BELIEF IN THEIR DENOMINATIONAL RULES AND TENANTS, THEY ARE WRONG.
ANY RULE THAT IS NOT IN THE BIBLE IS MAN-MADE, THAT WILL COME BACK TO HURT THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN IT OVER WHAT IS WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE IN THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT.
SOME MAY ARGUE THAT THERE WERE SACRIFICES MADE IN THE OLD TESTAMENT. YES, THAT IS TRUE; ONE HAS TO READ AND UNDERSTAND WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS.
“FOR IF THAT FIRST COVENANT HAD BEEN FAULTLESS, THEN NO PLACE WOULD HAVE BEEN SOUGHT FOR A SECOND. [HEBREWS, 8;-7]
IN CONCLUSION: ANY BELIEVER WHO CAN NOT REST HIS FAITH UPON THE “FINISHED WORK OF THE CROSS,” AND LIVES WITH THE OUTCOME IS NOT FIT FOR THE KINGDOM.
LET US LEARN FROM APOSTLE PAUL WHO WORKED TIRELESSLY IN THE VINEYARD AND PLEADED WITH GOD CONCERNING A CERTAIN ISSUE IN HIS LIFE AND GOT A NEGATIVE RESPONSE FROM GOD BUT LIVED WITH THE RESULT. [2 CORIN. 12;-7-11]
