Showing Love and Hospitality, an important aspect of being a Christian

CHRIST CHOSEN DISCIPLES:
AS THE LENTEN PERIOD IS AROUND THE CORNER, THERE IS ONE IMPORTANT ASPECT OF CHRISTIANITY THAT WE ARE MISSING.
IT IS MORE REWARDING TO GIVE TO THE POOR AND THE NEEDY THAN TO ENGAGE ONESELF IN MARATHON FASTING.
ANY OF OUR FASTING WITHOUT GIVING TO CHARITY IS NOT BETTER THAN BEEN IN HUNGER STRIKE.
BECAUSE ALL THAT WE HAVE TODAY ARE GIFTS FROM GOD THE FATHER.
DEUTERONOMY, 8:-18 “YOU SHALL REMEMBER THE LORD YOUR GOD, FOR IT IS HE WHO GIVES YOU THE POWER TO GET WEALTH, THAT HE MAY CONFIRM HIS COVENANT THAT HE SWORE TO YOUR FATHERS, AS IT IS THIS DAY.”
ISAIAH, 58:-6-7 “IS NOT THIS FAST THAT I CHOOSE, TO LOOSE THE BONDS OF WICKEDNESS. TO SHARE YOUR BREAD WITH THE HUNGRY, AND BRING THE HOMELESS POOR INTO YOUR HOUSE; WHEN YOU SEE THE NAKED, TO COVER HIM, AND NOT TO HIDE YOURSELF FROM YOUR OWN FLESH?”
ANYTHING SHORT OF THIS IS, IS TO BE CONSIDERED AN HUNGER-STRIKE.
TO SHOW SOME LOVE AND HOSPITALITY TO THOSE WHO ARE GOING THROUGH DIFFICULTIES IN LIFE TELLS HOW FAITHFUL AND APPRECIATIVEWE ARE TO HIM THAT SACRIFICED HIMSELF ON THE ROSS OF CALVARY FOR OUR OWN SAKE.
MATTHEW, 25:-35-40 “FOR I WAS HUNGRY, AND YOU GAVE ME MEAT; I WAS THIRSTY, AND YE GAVE ME DRINK; I WAS A STRANGER, AND YE TOOK ME IN.”
IN CONCLUSION: IN ALL THINGS I HAVE SHOWN YOU THAT BY WORKING HARD IN THIS WAY WE MUST HELP THE WEAK AND REMEMBER THE WORDS OF THE LORD JESUS, HOW HE HIMSELF SAID, “IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE.” (ACTS, 20:-35)
