Let's help the poor, it is the test of our faith in Christ.
THE BLESSED & HIGHLY FAVORED:
LET US HAVE COMPASSION IN OUR HEARTS TOWARD THE POOR AND NEEDY, BOTH WITHIN OUR OWN FAMILY AND THOSE IN THE HOUSE OF FAITH.
GALATIANS, 6:-10 “THEREFORE, AS WE HAVE OPPORTUNITY, LET US DO GOOD TO ALL PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY TO THOSE WHO ARE OF THE HOUSE OF FAITH.”
AS A MAN DOES TO THE POOR AND THE LESS-PRIVILEGED SO SHALL THE LORD DO UNTO HIM.
1 JOHN, 3:-17 “IF SOMEONE HAS ENOUGH MONEY TO LIVE WELL AND SEES A BROTHER OR SISTER IN NEED BUT SHOWS NO COMPASSION, HOW CAN GOD’S LOVE BE IN THAT MAN?”
LOVE AND COMPASSION ARE BOTH PART OF OUR DISCIPLESHIP IN CHRIST.
WE CANNOT LOVE GOD WHEN WE DON’T LOVE OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN NEED
TAKE A SERIOUS LOOK AT THE STREET THAT YOU ARE IN, OR YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD. YOU WILL FIND SOMEONE WHO IS IN NEED OF YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT.
IT IS PART OF YOUR DUTY AS CHRIST DISCIPLE TO HELP THOSE THAT ARE IN NEED. YOU DON’T HAVE TO BREAK A BANK.
JAMES, 2:-15-17 “IF A BROTHER OR SISTER IS POORLY CLOTHED AND LACK IN DAILY FOOD, AND ONE OF YOU SAYS TO THEM, “GO IN PEACE, BE WARMED AND FILLED, WITHOUT GIVING THEM THE THINGS NEEDED FOR THE BODY, WHAT GOOD IS THAT? SO ALSO FAITH BY ITSELF, IF IT DOES NOT HAVE WORKS IS DEAD.”
THEREFORE LET US BE MINDFUL THAT THE POOR AND THE NEEDY THAT ARE AROUND US ARE THE TEST OF OUR LOVE FOR OUR NEIGHBORS AND OUR OBEDIENCE TO GOD.
SO, NOBLE ELDERS AND FELLOW BRETHREN; WE URGE YOU IN THE HOLY NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST TO SHOW MERCY TO THE LESS-PRIVILEGED.
YOU MAY BE ENTERTAINING AN ANGEL OF GOD UNKNOWN.
IN CONCLUSION:- MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU MORE ABUNDANTLY THAT YOU MAY IN RETURN SUFFICIENTLY BLESS THE NEEDY BOTH IN YOUR FAMILY, YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD, AND AT YOUR CHOSEN PLACE OF WORSHIP.
IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME WE PRAY. AMEN.
